What's in Store for Our Young Space Voyage Makers?
Each participant will learn the following Maker Skills:
1. Becoming a Bricoleur: Learning the amazing art of bricolage – creating incredible things with whatever materials are available, just like real astronauts and engineers. A bricoleur is a person who lives a bricolage philosophy (using available materials to create and fix things)
2. Teamwork in Space: Embark on team missions where you'll learn the importance of working together, just like the crew of Apollo 11.
3. Knolling and Organization: Discover the art of "knolling", aka organizing your materials and tools in a way that makes your space projects efficient and successful.
4. Design and Sketch: Plan out your space creations with sketches and designs, developing your ideas before bringing them to life.
5. Tool Time: Get hands-on experience with a variety of tools that are essential for any maker and space explorer. Learn how to safely use a hot-glue gun.
6. Build Your Own Saturn V Rocket: Create your very own Saturn V rockets in different sizes (11", 40", and 84" tall) and learn the intricacies of rocket science.
7. Attention to Detail: Hone your skills in observing and taking care of the smallest details – crucial for any space mission.
8. It's About Time: Learn about "time management." When you are building and fabricating, time goes by quickly.
9. Presentation Skills: Share your final models and learn how to present your innovative ideas and creations, just like a real scientist.
10. Our Four Pillars: At Space Voyage Maker Labe you have the Freedom to Chose, the Power to Achieve, in a friendly community, and where you will have fun.

My daughter loved the camp. She says "Space voyage is an amazing camp. All of the staff members are really hard workers, nice and fun to be around. This camp was the highlight of my summer and I can't wait to come back. Thank you Doc for the amazing experience and thank you for all of the hard work that you put in to making this camp so enjoyable."
My son and daughter attended Space Voyage a couple summers ago and absolutely loved it! Everyday camp instructor Dr. (Doc) Palmere gave the
campers a opportunity to learn something new and exciting. This camp makes the campers have to think outside the box. We would highly recommend this summer camp. We give it FIVE STARS
