Space Voyage Maker Lab is an educational adventure, where kids ages 9 to 16 explore Apollo 11 and build Saturn V Rocket Models using bricolage techniques. Bricolage is the building and repairing of things from commonly available materials. 2025 is the second year of Maker Lab Camp for Space Voyage. It's based on the same educational model as Space Voyage Space Camp, but meets four days instead of five days.
The summer of 2025, will be the second summer of Space Voyage Maker Camp. Students who attended last summer are encouraged to return and build on their knowledge, skill, confidence and experience. This summer we will be adding three levels of competency and achievement: Beginner, Craftsman and Advanced Craftsman. Each Level can take one or more weeks.
Each session is four days long, from 8am to 3:30pm. Cost is $425 per session. Camp cost is $399 plus a $26 fee for materials, pattern-templates and otter-pops (used to cool hand when using hot-glue.
Families can register online and get the discounts for multiple children, multiple weeks and multiple children for multiple weeks.
